High performance tubular cartridge heaters are sealed so they are not susceptable to ingress of moisture and will work upto 750 degrees c sheath temperture and offer a high watt density heating solution that can be coiled around as opposed to inserted into a tool. Coiled heater are used, where space is at a premium. The coil heaters are available with and without thermocouple and are available either in straight lengh for coiling or as pre coiled types with various different cross sections from round to square and rectangular. These heaters can also be used to heat large platterns and can be shaped to fit into a machined groove.
